Dan Bourbon, President
Presently retired Chairman and former minority owner of an 11 million dollar provider of test equipment and
contract product testing services, with operations in Holland, Plymouth, Auburn Hills, and Clinton Township in Michigan. For almost 30 years, Dan worked in the automotive industry managing large joint ventures and sales contracts which included international sales.
Ken Neimeyer, Vice-President
Investment Attorney for AmSouth Bank in Mobile. Long time resident of Fairhope in Baldwin County.
Harv Joanning, Treasurer
Professor Emeritus with the University of Iowa. He grew up on a farm in Iowa and continues to have an interest in farm issues locally. He also serves on the Citizen’s for Responsible Government.
George Crozier, Secretary
Director of Dauphin Island Sea Lab and Marine Biologist who has worked on Smart Growth issues for more than 20 years. Served as part of Mobile’s Smart Growth Initiative.
Marian Macpherson
Attorney for NOAA and long time resident of Baldwin County. She has served as President for two years.
Beverley Allen
Partner with her husband in the accounting firm…Allen & Allen. She is a charter member (1989) of the Daphne–Spanish Fort Rotary Club and is currently the President Elect for the 2007-2008 year.
Beverley is on the board of EMC’s Round Up Fund.
Judy Culbreth
Editorial director of Mobile Bay Monthly since September 2005. She served as executive director of Redbook and editor-in-chief of Working Mother magazine for 10 years. Judy served as the moderator for the Imagine a Region: Mixed Use Conference in April of 06.
Walt Dickerson
Director of Mobile Emergency Management Agency. Community Involvement includes: Chairperson for the Tommie Agee Charity Foundation, Vice President of Gulf City Golfers Association, Mobile Area Mardi Gras Association, Summit to Advance Values in Education (SAVE), and American Legion Post 77. He is also a member of the Greater Mobile Chapter of 100 Black Men
Jim Connors
Co-founder of Eco-Systems, Inc., a multi-practice environmental consulting firm with offices located across the southern U.S. He is a registered Professional Geologist with over 22 years of experience in various environmental areas including sustainability and "Smart Growth". He also teaches Physical and Historical Geology, Geophysics, and Hydrology at
the University of South Alabama.
